SILC companions are warm, compassionate and fun

The goal of a SILC companion is to build a relationship of mutual trust and respect with our clients. SILC companions are caregivers because they love working with the elderly. They are educated, personable and have a love for living life and a passion for seniors.

• Conversation
• Mental stimulation (playing games, trivia, crafts)
• Participating in a new hobby
• Nutrition and cooking
• Light exercise 
• Connecting with social groups
• Social activities or day trips (museums, movies, seminars)
• Concierge Services (scheduling, appointments, shopping, travel companions)

SILC companions can help to relieve stress and take pressure off of the caregiver

Often times the caregiving responsibilities go to the spouse or children. Their days focus on giving the best care to their loved one, forgetting that they need emotional, social and mental stimulation as well.

SILC companions can focus on the needs of the caregiver, providing them with the support, activities and breaks needed for them to stay healthy and strong for their loved one.

SILC's unique services

Social experiences can inspire, awaken and stimulate the senses. SILC companions will arrange, plan, and accompany our clients interested in any or all of the below activities!

• Travel Companions (concerts, family visits, short vacations)
• Day trips to a museum, the theater, or a movie
• Host a dinner, lunch, tea or birthday party for family or friends
• Take an exercise, music or art class

SILC drivers are safe and insured

Let us take you there. SILC companions can help by driving you or your loved one to day to day appointments, errands, friendly visits and the grocery store.

SILC companions can assist with many household needs during our visits keeping the home in order and providing nutritious meals for the day or week.
